These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our online and class-based courses. By enrolling in or using our courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Enrolment
To enrol in a course, you must register an account on our website (for online courses) or complete the enrolment process for class-based courses. You must provide accurate and complete information during the enrolment process. Enrolment is subject to availability and may be limited based on capacity.
Payment
Payment for courses must be made in full at the time of enrolment. We accept payment through debit/credit card and browser payments, with all transactions processed securely. Prices for courses are subject to change without notice.
Access and Usage
- Online Courses: Upon successful enrolment and payment, you will be granted access to the online course materials for a 12-month duration. You agree to use the course materials solely for personal, non-commercial use and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. You may not share, distribute, or resell the course materials to any third party without our prior written consent.
- Class-Based Courses: Enrolment grants access to in-person training sessions as scheduled. Attendance is required to receive certification where applicable. Participants must adhere to all health and safety guidelines provided.
Refunds
Refunds are available within 14 days from the date of enrolment, subject to the following conditions:
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@nutritionscotland.org.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, and any processing fees may apply.
Additional Refund Policy for Online Courses
Once a customer has accessed any portion of the online course content, including but not limited to viewing videos, downloading materials, or participating in discussions, the course fee is non-refundable. By accessing the course content, the customer acknowledges and agrees to waive their right to a refund.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to text, graphics, videos, presentations, and quizzes, are the intellectual property of Nutrition Scotland or their licensor.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the course materials without our prior written consent.
By enrolling in a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal use only.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our courses at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. In the event of termination or suspension, you will lose access to the course materials and any progress or certificates associated with your account.
Disclaimer of Guarantees
We make no representations or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the course materials. We disclaim all guarantees, including but not limited to implied guarantees of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
Nutrition Scotland and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our courses.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The Terms and Conditions will be interpreted solely in accordance with Scots law.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our courses after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms and Conditions.
